A funeral service for former President Jimmy Carter at the Washington National Cathedral in D.C. is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. MST on Thursday, January 9, 2025.
His casket was previously lying in state in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda from Tuesday evening to Thursday morning.
Carter died on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at the age of 100.
